Campus-Industry Synergy: Bachelor of Animal Science Students Deepen Their Knowledge of Animal Feed Technology at CV Superfeed Through the MBKM Program

Semarang, February 24, 2026 – The Bachelor of Animal Science Program, Universitas Diponegoro, once again held an Industrial Internship activity as part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, in collaboration with CV Superfeed Berdikari Utama. This activity was held from January 5 to February 6, 2026, and was attended by 7 students from various batches (2019-2023), including Shaka Narendra, Abyan Ghifari, Aldo Tectona Grandis Sitanggang, Naufal Arya Ramadhan, Muhammad Zalfa Septino, Christian Nathanael Bimandaru, and Azra Rizqolla. The industrial internship in this MBKM program aims to provide students with industrial work experience and strengthen professional networks among students before they enter the workforce.

CV. Superfeed Berdikari Utama is a feed industry founded by a 2010 alumnus of the Bachelor of Animal Science Program, Rahmadilla Widi Setianingtyas, S.Pt. CV Superfeed, as one of the leading livestock feed producers in the Kudus region, was chosen as a strategic partner due to its sophisticated technology in livestock feed processing. “We hope and want to ensure that students participating in the MBKM program gain knowledge not only theoretically but also practically,” said Rahmadilla.

During the one-month internship, students were rotated through various important divisions, ranging from logistics, animal feed and premix production, quality control (QC), and marketplace. Not only did they undergo activities and learn at the factory, MBKM participants also learned how to manage laying hens, met with sheep farming partners to address their complaints, and learned about the product distribution process at CV. Superfeed. In these various divisions, students learn many new things that cannot be learned in air-conditioned campus classrooms, as well as problem solving in the workplace, which must be done quickly and accurately.

Asra Rizqolla, one of the 6th semesters interns, said that the biggest challenge of working in a feed factory is the speed and accuracy of decision making.

“At first, I was surprised by the fast pace of work in the factory. While at university we can repeat a lab if we make a mistake, here we are racing against daily production targets. I learned a lot about how to handle machines that often malfunction and maintain consistent feed quality when raw material conditions are fluctuating,” said Asra Rizqolla.

Through this program, students not only bring home course credits, but also a portfolio of hard skills and soft skills. A deep understanding of the feed industry’s Supply Chain Management process is an added value that makes graduates of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro better prepared to compete in the job market.

Person in Charge (PIC) of the activity, Dr. Dinda Ayu Permata Sari, S. Pt., M.Si. said “It is hoped that the MBKM program at CV Superfeed will continue as a tangible manifestation of penta helix collaboration between higher education institutions and the business and industrial sectors, for the advancement of Indonesia’s animal husbandry industry”.
